The Pioneer-Yokefellows Life Group is a group of retired and still-working men in their 60s, 70s, & 80s. The class starts with prayer, singing of hymns, and special music by soloists. Mark Alan’s teaching style is lecture with some class discussion. He teaches through a book of the Bible with a verse-by-verse approach emphasizing both the historical context and an application to today’s life.
Mark Alan and his wife Lisa have been married since 1994. He has an interest in antiques, particularly American Brilliant Cut Glass. He serves as a deacon and is a Professor of English at Northwest Mississippi Community College.
